Our Cause
Access to safe drinking water remains a critical global challenge. According to trusted organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, many water sources around the world are contaminated with pathogens, sediments, chemicals, and heavy metals. Among these, heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, and mercury are especially concerning because they accumulate in the body over time and cause long-term health effects, including neurological and developmental damage. These contaminants often enter water supplies through aging infrastructure, industrial pollution, or geological sources. While treatment solutions exist, many are costly, require electricity, or demand complex maintenance, making safe drinking water inaccessible for low-resource communities and emergency situations.
